Privacy
The short version: we collect the minimum we need to run Cleearly, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
What we collect
Three things. Your account email, so you can sign in. Your learning progress, so your lessons pick up where you left off. And your practice-portfolio entries, so your virtual trades and calls are there when you come back.
That is it. No contacts, no location, no real brokerage or bank details. Cleearly never touches real money, so we never ask for it.
How we use it
To run the app: sign you in, save your progress, keep your practice portfolio in sync across your devices, and send you the notifications you have asked for.
We also look at anonymous, aggregated usage, like which lessons people find hard, to make the teaching better.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Your learning history and your practice trades are yours.
AI briefs
When Cleearly writes a plain-English brief about a stock, it works from public market information about that company. Your personal details and your practice portfolio are not part of what gets sent to generate a brief.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored with reputable cloud infrastructure providers and encrypted in transit. We limit who at Cleearly can access it, and only for running or fixing the service.
Third-party services
We use a small number of service providers for hosting, email, and basic product analytics. They process data on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where the law asks us to keep specific records.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, export, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email hello@cleearly.com and we will sort it out.
Children
Cleearly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update this page and let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
