Terms
The plain-English deal: Cleearly teaches you about the market with virtual money. It is education, not advice, and no real trades ever happen here.
The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Cleearly. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Cleearly.
What Cleearly is
Cleearly is an educational app. It teaches you how to read the stock market through lessons, plain-English briefs on real stocks, and a practice portfolio. It exists to help you learn, not to manage your money.
Not investment advice
Nothing in Cleearly is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Lessons, briefs, scores, and anything Cleo says are for education only. They are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold anything.
If you make real investment decisions, do your own research and consider talking to a licensed professional. Real investing can lose real money.
The practice portfolio is virtual
Your $10,000 practice portfolio is virtual cash. It has no monetary value, cannot be deposited, withdrawn, or transferred, and no real securities are ever bought or sold. Cleearly is not a brokerage and does not execute trades of any kind.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and give us an email address you actually check. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.
Fair use
Use Cleearly as a person learning about the market. Do not scrape it, overload it, resell it, reverse engineer it, or use it to build a competing dataset or service. Do not use it for anything unlawful.
Market data and AI content
Prices, charts, and briefs come from third-party data and AI-generated summaries. They can be delayed, incomplete, or simply wrong. Verify anything important with a primary source before acting on it in the real world.
Our content
The lessons, design, Cleo, and everything else in Cleearly belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-commercial license to use them inside the app. Please do not copy or redistribute them.
Ending things
You can stop using Cleearly and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
No warranties, limited liability
Cleearly is provided as is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it always will be. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past twelve months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Cleearly is incorporated, which we will name here before launch. Disputes go to the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update this page and let you know in the app first. Questions? Email hello@cleearly.com.
